Annual Report on Indian Epigraphy for 1994-95

I am happy to place this work of Annual Report on Indian Epigraphy for the year 1994-95 in the hands of the readers and research scholars. I am extremely thankful to the officers who have collected materials for this volume. Sri. M. Jayarama Sharma, Superintending Epigraphist for Dravidian Inscriptions had spared no pains in helping me to bring out this year's report. My sincere thanks are due to him. I am also extremely grateful to my colleagues, Dr. M.I. Quddusi, Superintending Epigraphist for Arabic and Persian inscriptions (presently Director (Epigraphy), Nagpur, Dr. T.S. Ravishankar and Sri Jai Prakash, Deputy Superintending Epigraphists (Sanskrit Inscriptions) and to other technical staff who have gone through the script and offered valuable suggestions for the preparation of this report.
