About the Author

Dr. S. S. Khanka, M. Com. , (Gold Medalist), Ph. D. is Professor (HRM) in the National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, Faridabad (Haryana). Prior to this he has served as Professor, Dean and Head for over 13 years in Tezpur (Central) University, Tezpur : Assam (Central) University, Silchar; Reader in the Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi; and Senior Lecturer in Kumaun University, Nainital. He has so far written ten (5 research and 5 text books) in commerce and management, published more than 50 research papers in the journals of national repute, and completed 5 research projects sponsored by the UGC, ICSSR, and AICTE. He has a teaching experience of nearly 30 years, with international exposure as Visiting Professor to the Bishkek International School of Management and Business, Bishkek (Kyrghyzstan) and Department of Management, National University of Mongolia, Ulaan Bataar (Mongolia).
