This Book deals with the huge Ethnic diversity and ideas and actions of various ethnic Communities (both tribal and non tribal) of North-East India manifested in the form of protests and movements. It examines the perspectives and programmers of four different Movements launched by mobilized ethnic communities of the region for their identity, security and development. The issues raised by these movements reflect the varied concerns, urges and aspiration of these ethnic communities as citizens of a democratic society.
