He is the author of the Marketable and Marketed Surplus in Agriculture, Estimates of Coefficients of Economic Relationships: Some Exercises for India and Applied Econometrics

B. Shiva REDDY, M.A., Ph. D. is Professor and Head, Department of Economics, Osmania University, Hyderabad. He received his Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He published about two dozen articles in various Journals of national and international repute
He served as a Member of Tapas Majumdar Committee on Elementary Education, Government of India (1997-98) and National Council for Teacher Education (Southern Region: 2006-08). Also he carried out several Baseline/ Evaluation studies, mainly, related to Educational Programmes/Policies of Government of India and Andhra Pradesh such as Operation Blackboard Scheme, District Primary Education Programme and District Poverty Initiative Programme. He is associated with preparation of State Development Report for Andhra Pradesh sponsored by Planning Commission, New Delhi.
T.L.N. SWAMY, M.A., Ph. D. is Professor Department of Economics, Osmania University, Hyderabad. He served the Department of Economics and Finance, University of Asmara, Eritrea, Africa as Head and faculty member during 1997-99 and also the Department of Agricultural Economics, University of Namibia, Namibia, Africa as faculty member during 1999-2001. He has published 34 research papers in various national and international journals and completed 12 research projects. He has done collaborative research work for the Roskilde University, Denmark and the Ministry of Water and Agriculture, Govt. of Namibia, Namibia
He held several administrative positions including Registrar, Telangana University, and Director. Competitive Exams Coaching Centre O.U. and presently he is the Director, University Foreign Relations Office, O.U. and member Academic Senate Osmania University besides serving as a member of various academic and research committees.
