About the Author
Robert Louis Stevenson, a well-known Scottish author, was born to Thomas Stevenson and Margaret on November 13, 1850 at Edinburgh, Scotland. His major writings include Treasure Island, An Inland Voyage, Kidnapped, The Silverado Squatters, The Beach of Falesa, The Ebb-Tide, Vailima Letters, A Child’s Garden of Verses, and Underwoods. He died on December 3, 1894 at the age of forty-four.
