About the Book

The world-best detection fiction novel, And Then There Were None is the tale of ten curious strangers, each with a dark secret, each as weekend guests summoned to a Soldier island, off the coast of Devon, by the mysterious host. The guests' bedrooms, and the dining room, have a framed copy of a nursery rhyme that turns out to be the framework to plan and execute the guests' deaths. After the evening meal, a record begins to play; guests on the island heard an eerie voice of an invisible host blaming them of hiding a common guilty secret. That evening, they found former driver Tony Marston murdered by a cyanide poisoning.

The killer stalks the group and slays them one by one, in a different ways, including by poisoning, shooting, lynching, drowning, and hammering. They are the only people on the isolated island, and cannot exit due to the stormy weather. The nervousness raises as the survivors realize the murderer is not only among them but is ready to hit again. By the end of the weekend, there will be none. First published in the UK by the Collins Crime Club, And Then There Were None is the suspenseful story of murder and retribution that leave the readers bamboozled in a straightforward way from the starting until the end.
