About the Author
C.P. Kothandaraman, B.E. (Hons.), M.S., Ph.D., FIE, MISTE, started his Teaching Career as lecturer in Mechanical Engineering in 1958 at the PSG College of Technology. After promotion as Professor in 1967 he continued to work for the college till his retirement in 1991.
His subject areas are Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics and Thermal Engineering, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Fluid Mechanics, Solar Energy and Biogas Applications. Since 1985 he has also guided teaching of CAD/CAM subjects.
His publications with New Age include Fundamentals of Heat and Mass Transfer, Basic Fluid Mechanics and Heat and Mass Transfer Data Book. He has also edited and published Steam Tables.
